Welcome to our Website!
Welcome to Dancegang - The Geraldine Fox Theatre Arts Academy. We are a friendly dancing school based in Tonbridge and surrounding villages in the UK. Established in 1953, we are one of the oldest dance schools in Tonbridge.
We offer classes teaching to Children and Adults in Ballet, Tap, Freestyle (disco, street, hip-hop, pop), Musical Theatre (performing arts - acting and singing), Salsa and Modern Jazz for optional IDTA exams and shows. Most classes on Friday's and Saturday's are in Tonbridge Town centre, although we also teach on other days in Golden Green and Tudeley.
In January 2010, the school changed its name from "Geraldine Fox School of Dancing" to "Geraldine Fox Theatre Arts Academy" to better describe the wide range of subjects on offer.

In 1996, an enthusiastic three year old – Hannah Rotchell - joined the Geraldine Fox Theatre Arts Academy. From the very start, she showed excellent potential, and excelled in her lessons and exams.
However, it was at our annual show where Hannah's "born to perform" style really shone through. Her dances were always polished and showed the spark of a true future professional.

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Zoe White on her successful audition for a place on the Laban CAT (Centre for Advanced Training) scheme. Beginning next term, in addition to her other studies, Zoe will attend Saturday classes at the prestigious Laban studios in London.
Zoe has danced with the Geraldine Fox Theatre Arts Academy for over 10 years, and currently studies Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Musical Theatre and Freestyle. The additional training she will receive at Laban, with some of the nation's best teachers and artists, will give her the opportunity to enhance her performance technique and to participate in dance events that take place at the centre.

O ur congratulations to Hannah Rotchell, who, after successfully auditioning for three of the major dance colleges, has decided to accept a place on the B.A. (hons) course at the London Contemporary Dance School, otherwise known as "The Place".
Hannah is currently taking her final major exams with us, and will then be leaving The Geraldine Fox Theatre Arts Academy in Tonbridge after many years of training. We wish her every success in the exams, and for the future.
Over the last few years, Hannah has also gained greatly from her attendance at Laban CAT every Saturday. Last weekend, she performed in a new, exciting piece of dance and song by Trinity Laban at the Southbank centre.
